For measuring body temperature
- Turn on the power button
- Move the slide switch upward to set the Human body temperature measuring mode
- After a short beep, the device is ready to use
- Hold the thermometer at the length of 3 – 5 cm (or 2 inch) from the person’s forehead
- Press the scan button for 2 seconds; you can hear a long beep when the process is completed
- Read the temperature
For measuring object temperature
- Turn on the power button
- Move the slide switch downward to set the Object temperature measuring mode
- After a short beep, the device is ready to use
- Hold the thermometer at the length of 3 – 5 cm (or 2 inch) from the object
- Press the scan button for 2 seconds; you can hear a long beep when the process is completed
- Read the temperature
