Cipla prolyte ORS drink sachet is the right mix of ingredients (electrolytes) that help abate diarrhoea, vomiting and other physical manifestations of dehydration, also reduces the time-frame of the illness, thereby supports a speedy recovery; ideal drink for tiredness, energy loss and fatigue.
- Sodium chloride IP 2.6 g.
- Potassium chloride IP 1.5 g.
- Sodium citrate IP 2.9 g.
- Dextrose anhydrous IP 13.5 g.
- Excipients q.s.
- Boil water and let it cool.
- Add 1 teaspoonful of powder to 200ml of cooled water, stir and drink.
- The does varies depending upon age and severity of dehydration.
- Infants and Children: 1-2 litres (5-10 glasses) over a period of 24 hours.
- Adults: 2-4 litres (10-20 glasses) over a period of 24 hours.
- Use the content within 24 hours after opening.
- To be used in conditions of diarrhea, vomiting and when there is loss of water and electrolytes.
- Don’t exceed the recommended dose.
- Store in a cool and dry place.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Not for parenteral use.
