Lysil silicone gel sheet works by hydrating the scar area and makes the scar tissue paler closer to the natural colour of the skin while preserving the skin elasticity and effectively prevents tissue from drying out; can be used for red, raised, old or new scars, hypertrophic scars, keloids, erythema, scar resurfacing post CO2 lasers, chemical peels and dermabrasion.

  • Lysil silicone gel sheet is derived from high quality polysiloxane material.
  • Promotes hydration in the scar area.
  • Medically proven to improve the appearance by softening, flattening and fading red and raised scars.
  • Reinforced with fine Dacron fabric which enhances the durability and handling properties.
  • Some injuries will leave a flat white scar that will normally fade away in time and this sheet is not recommended for these types of scars.
  • Easy to apply, remove and reapply; can be washed and reused.
  • For first 2-3 days, it should be worn for 2-4 hours only. Then, increase the wearing time gradually up to 12 to 24 hours.

  • Wash hands before and after use.
  • Clean the scar with a mild soap and rinse with warm water; thoroughly dry the scar and surrounding skin.
  • Remove the gel sheet from the pack, cut the gel sheet to a required size to suit the scar area.
  • Remove the plastic liner sheet. Then, place the gel sheet, adhesive side to the scar, without stretching; if necessary a light bandage or tape can be used to keep the sheet in place.
  • Initially for two to three days, use the sheet for 2-4 hours, for next two days use for 4-8 hrs each day. Then increase the wearing time to 12-24 hours.
  • Clean the sheet with a mild detergent and rinse well and dry with a towel as and when it is required.
  • Wash the scar and the surrounding skin area with soap, rinse well and dry
  • Note:
  • The sheet should be replaced when the thickness of sheet is reduced beyond its usability.
  • It has to be used for 2-4 months to get a very good result.

  • Do not use ointments or creams under the gel sheet.
  • In some cases, skin rash may appear, this may due to either poor hygiene or the product being applied too tightly. If a rash appears or persists please consult your doctor.
  • Do not use on the skin currently affected by acne.
  • Clean the sheet with a mild detergent and rinse well and dry with a towel
  • When you are not wearing, store the sheet on plastic packing or plastic wrap in a sealed container.
