Maltodextrin, Whey Protein Concentrate, Milk Solids, Minerals, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Vitamins and Emulsifier (472(c))
Direction of Use
- Pour 25 ml of human milk (as directed by the health worker) into sterile container.
- Add the entire contents of one sachet (1 g) to the container.
- Cap the container, shake well and feed.
- Cover and store unused fortified human milk in refrigerator.
- Use fortified human milk within 8 hours of preparation.
- Shake well before use.
Note: Add Lactodex-HMF in the given proportion with each feed till the time directed by the health worker.

Milk fortifier (MF) adds nutrients to your breast milk to meet your baby’s higher requirements. It supplies increased protein for growth and minerals, calcium and phosphorous for high-risk babies who have nutritional need for development.
Babies who are started on breast milk fortifier will usually need to continue having it until they are 4 weeks past their due date.
Some babies may have difficulty initially when the fortifier is added. They may have delayed emptying from the stomach, abdominal distention or even gas. The stools may change somewhat in color. So, follow all the instructions given by your doctor and consult if you are not sure about it.
