Babies generally take two or three weeks to get used to bottles. But in special cases, if it is not possible to wait for 6 months due to low production of breastmilk then you can introduce a bottle two or three weeks after their birth.
Your child may be full if he or she: Pushes food away. Closes his or her mouth when food is offered. Turns his or her head away from food.
One of the more common causes is swallowing too much air while eating ,whether breastfed or bottle-fed ,it can cause gas.
The baby will be likely be just fine and will end up passing the gas from the other end. Other babies may spit up in the crib later on, or they’ll wake up fussy and need that burp you tried to get out of them before.
As babies grow, they begin to eat more at each feeding and can go longer between feedings. Still, there may be times when your little one seems hungrier than usual. Your baby may be going through a period of rapid growth (called a growth spurt).

Hold your baby in a semi-upright position for bottle feeds. Support their head so they can breathe and swallow comfortably. Brush the teat against your baby’s lips and when they open their mouth wide let them draw in the teat. Always give your baby plenty of time to feed.
A bottle-feeding should take about 15-20 minutes. If the baby finishes the bottle in 5-10 minutes, the flow is likely to be fast. If it takes your baby 30-45 minutes to take a bottle, the flow is too slow. Consider changing the bottle and nipple to meet your baby’s needs.
Take heart that when sleepy babies feed, they’re usually so relaxed that they’re less likely to intake extra air. If you find that he isn’t fussy, wiggly, or restless at wake-up time, he may not need to burp each time. In short, it’s okay to put him to sleep without burping.
Sit your baby on your lap supporting the chin and chest with one hand. Rub or pat the back with your other hand. Tip: Use repeated, gentle pats on your baby’s back. Rest your baby faced down on your lap and gently rub or pat the back.
Support your baby’s head and neck, make sure their tummy and back is nice and straight (not curled up), and rub or pat their back gently. You don’t need to spend ages burping your baby, a couple of minutes should be enough.
