The Resmed AirStart10 CPAP device is designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use. It has no complicated menus or settings to navigate; one can simply plug in the device and press Start.
AirStart™ 10 only beneficial for apneas to 10cm H2O where the AirSense™ 10 AutoSet can be used for apneas up to 20cm H2O.
Oxygen concentrator and CPAP machine serves different functions. An oxygen concentrator is used for respiratory conditions that cause low oxygen levels in the blood. While CPAP machine is used to keep the airway open during sleep and prevent the breathing interruptions that occur as a result of sleep apnea.
Both delivers air pressure and supports breathing. But, BiPAP delivers higher pressure when you breathe in, whereas CPAP delivers the same at all times.
Some people needs this machine only for shorter time, others can tolerate for long times. So, it is best to follow as per your doctor’s advice.
