- Find a comfortable place to sit with a back support of chair / desk / table.
- Place your feet flat on the floor.
- Rest your arm on a table.
- Place the cuff on your bare upper arm 1 inch above your elbow.
- Pull the end of the cuff so that you give equal tension around the arm.
- Wait for a moment; press START button.
- The cuff will slowly inflate and deflate automatically.
- Once the reading is complete, the monitor will display the blood pressure and pulse rate.

Find a comfortable place to sit with a back support of chair / desk / table. Place your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table. Place the cuff on your bare upper arm 1 inch above your elbow. Pull the end of the cuff so that you give equal tension around the arm. Wait for a moment; press START button. The cuff will slowly inflate and deflate automatically. Once the reading is complete, the monitor will display the blood pressure and pulse rate.
Normal blood pressure can be range from 90/60 to 120/80.
Too tight cuff can provide abnormal / high or wrong reading.
The cuff should be tight enough so that you can slip only two fingers in the top edge of the cuff and it should be placed at equal tension around the arm.
Improper or too tight placement of the cuff, placing the cuff over clothing, sudden rise of stress & anxiety before testing, crossed legs during the test are the common reasons for inaccurate readings.
