Direction of use:
- Place the ear pieces of the BPL stethoscope comfortably in your ears.
- Place the round part over your chest, beneath the left nipple.
- Place the chest piece (diaphragm or bell) of the BPL stethoscope directly against the skin for the best sound transmission.

- Never rinse or soak a stethoscope.
- Keep your Stethoscope away from extreme heat, cold, solvents, and oils.

Put one finger over the chest piece bell hole to seal it. Lightly press on the diaphragm. If you feel pressure in your ears when you press on the diaphragm, the stethoscope is not leaky.

Keep your stethoscope away from extreme heat, cold, solvents, and oils. Diaphragms can be removed from the chestpiece and their surfaces wiped with alcohol or soapy water.
The bell is most effective at transmitting lower-frequency sounds, while the diaphragm is most effective at transmitting higher-frequency sounds.
