Direction of use
- Place strip from one end of the knee round the foot to the opposite end of the knee.
- Leave loop space at the foot end of the leg.
- Insert spreader inside this loop space.
- Wrap the bandage on the strip.
- Tie the cord on spreader nose and pass the cord through the pulley.
- Hang the weight.

Skin traction kit is designed to provide maximum aeration to the skin while holding and securely maintaining alignment of extremities post fracture.
Skin traction is used when the soft tissues such as muscles and tendons need to be repaired.
Not known to cause any damage. To prevent damage use less force during skin traction to avoid irritation or damage to the skin.

Based on severity your orthopedician must decide that. Minimum 24 hours maximum 6 weeks. Can be used short term to immobilize the fracture.
Skin traction is less invasive than skeletal traction.
Banadages are applied directly to the skin below the fracture and weights are fastened. The affected body part is then pulled into right position using pulley system.
