Strepsils help relieve symptoms such as sore throat, throat irritation, or cough (due to cold).
A sore throat is often a sign that you may have an infection by virus or bacteria. But there are other things that can irritate the throat, causing redness and swelling, including cigarette smoke, pollution, voice strain or even changes in air temperature.
Antiseptics and local anesthetics such as amylmetacresol (AMC) / dichlorobenzyl alcohol (DCBA) are commonly used to reduce the symptoms of sore throat.
