The Freestyle Libre sensor is water-resistant up to 1 meter (3 feet) of water, can be easily applied, and stays on the back of your upper arm for up to 14 days.
The sensor can even be worn while you shower, swim, bathe, or exercise, and it fits seamlessly into your arm.
Apply the sensor to the back of your upper arm with the applicator.
Press the Home button to turn on the reader.
Touch Start New Sensor.
Hold the reader within 4 cm (1.5 inches) of the sensor to scan it. A sensor can be used to check your glucose after 1 hour.
Remove and replace your sensor if it starts to loosen.
Follow the instructions to select an appropriate application site.
Scan your sensor at least once every 8 hours for the most accurate performance.
Use it as per the advice of your healthcare professionals.
