Directions for Use
- Position the bottle at an angle rather than straight up and down so the milk only comes out when your baby sucks.
- Let your baby take breaks from drinking when he or she seems to want them.
- Watch your baby for cues that he or she is full, and then stop, even if the bottle is not empty
Safety Information
- Clean all areas of the bottle with a bottle brush, including the thread where the cap screws on. Remove any milk still sitting in the teat or the hole with a teat brush.
- Squeeze hot, soapy water through the teat hole, then do the same with clean water to rinse the teat.

There are many benefits to bottle-feeding, some of which include increased flexibility for the mother and the opportunity for other family members to bond with the infant. The mother’s health condition doesn’t affect the baby
Hold your baby in a semi-upright position for bottle feeds. Support their head so they can breathe and swallow comfortably. Brush the teat against your baby’s lips and when they open their mouth wide let them draw in the teat. Always give your baby plenty of time to feed.
The nipple should have milk at the tip, but you do not need to tip the bottle to fill the nipple chamber with milk. In fact, sucking on an empty nipple will not automatically fill your baby with gas.
A bottle-feeding should take about 15-20 minutes. If the baby finishes the bottle in 5-10 minutes, the flow is likely to fast. If it takes your baby 30-45 minutes to take a bottle, the flow is too slow. Consider changing the bottle and nipple to meet your baby’s needs.
Babies commonly take more milk from the bottle than they do from the breast. The fast, consistent milk flow of the bottle makes overfeeding more likely
