- DuoDERM Control Gel Formula Dressing is an adhesive (hydrocolloid) wound contact dressing.
- Dressing speeds up granulation and allows autolytic debriment.
- The self-adherent dressing absorbs wound fluid and provides a moist environment which supports body’s healing process.
- Reduces the risk of exposure to infectious or nosocomial agents and used for hard-to-dress areas.
- It may be used for wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds and diabetic ulcers.
Direction of Use:
- Before using Duoderm dressing, clean the wound areas with a wound cleansing agent.
- Remove release paper from the back of the dressing.
- Hold the dressing over the wounds and line up the center of the dressing with the center of the wound.
- Slowly roll the dressing onto where the wound is placed.
- Mold the dressing into the place of hand.
Safety Instructions:
- Do not use this product in combination with other wound care products or in combination with other wound care products
- Protect the edges of the dressing with adhesive or medical tape in case if the extra security is required
- Remove any unused portion of the product after dressing the wound
- Duoderm hydrocolloid dressing must be examined regularly for leakage and rolling up of edge. If any of this occurs, you must change the dressing.

Duodeum dressing is a waterproof dressing which is utilized to shelter burn and scald as well as decreases the infection.
Duoderm should not be used on people with infected bed sores and should not be used on individuals who are sensitive and have an allergic reaction to the dressing or its components.
For sutured or superficial wounds, the dressing might be worn for up to 7 days or up until the wound is healed as advised by the doctor.
Take off the dressing by lifting an edge and pulling away from the wound. It is advisable to not to pull up on the dressing. Also, an appropriate adhesive remove can be utilized in order to reduce the trauma to the peri-wound skin.
It is recommended to leave the Duoderm on the opsite dressing, although it is waterproof
