Direction of use
Before testing
- Install Covifind app and register yourself
- Put the tube on the box (into the whole of the box)
- Scan the QR code on the test device with the app to link the code with your credentials
Collecting the sample
- Take sample from both nostrils (gently, rotate the swab at least 5 times). Do not touch the swab side of sterile nasal swab; touch only the tail side (holdable side).
- Insert the swab into the tube; swirl it 8 – 10 times
- Break the extended end of the swab and close the nozzle with the cap
Performing the test
- Add four drops to the device card and wait for the result
- The app will start timer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the app will prompt you to take a picture of the test device
- AI powered app quickly shows your result
- Any results that appear after 20 minutes are considered invalid.
- Dispose the contents safely using the disposable bag
Read the results
Positive result: If the test device shows both lines that is, Control line (C) and Test line (T)
Note: People who have tested positive are required to follow the instructions given by ICMR
Negative result: If the test device shows only one line that is, Control line (C)
Note: If a person experiencing covid symptoms, he should get RT-PCR test and covid care even if the rapid antigen test result came as negative.
Invalid result: If there is no presence of Control line (C) on the test device
Note: The result will be invalid if the Control line (C) is not visible, regardless of the visibility of Test line (T)
