Directions for Use
- Sit on the edge of a firm, stable chair.
- Knee should be slightly bend (45°) and foot should be flat on the floor.
- With the strap undone, step into the brace.
- Position the hinges 1 inch above your kneecap.
- Move the hinges slightly behind the middle of your knee.
- Tighten the Anti-Migration calf band around your leg so it fits snugly.
- Make sure the band is in full contact with your leg and does not go outside the brace.
- Do not secure outer scrap.
- Secure the bottom calf strap and top thigh strap.
- Again push hinges slightly back behind the midline of the knee.
- Secure the lower thigh strap and the upper front calf strap.
- Secure back calf strap. After initial fit, you do not have to undo this strap; it will keep the anti-migration band in place.
- The brace should fit snugly to the leg. OA patients should feel a slight push on one side of the knee.
