Directions for Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the feed
- Sterilize the feeding bottle by boiling in water for 10 minutes
- Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and leave it till lukewarm
- Using the water measuring cup, pour correct amount of lukewarm water as per the feeding table
- Consult feeding table and add exact no. of scoops leveled off according to the age of the infant. Use only scoop from this pack. Stir well till the powder dissolves
- Feed the baby with bowl and spoon.
- Discard the leftover feed
Feeding Table:
- For 240 ml of boiled water add 8 scoops of Farex in 7-12months 3-4 feeds per day.
- After 12 months onwards change to Farex 3.
Safety Information
- Unboiled water, unsterilized bowl and spoon or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health. Prepare only one feed at a time.
- Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in.
- Discard unused feed.
Warning/Caution
Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitute is most essential for health. Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant. Do not use fewer scoops then directed, since diluted feeds will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infants.

You can use stage 1 formulas from 0-12 months old. From 6 months, you can choose stage 2 or follow-on formula.
Stage 2 formulas are intended for older babies, from six months onwards, and are also known as “follow-on formulas.” Although they are very similar to Stage 1 formulas, they have slightly more protein and different amounts of certain nutrients, in order to supply babies with the proper nutrition they need at this age.
First stage infant formula and second stage infant formula are nutritionally the same. The difference between them is the type of protein that is used. First stage infant milk’s are predominately whey protein and second stage infant milks – marketed for hungrier babies, contain more casein protein.
It contains more of the casein and less of the whey protein and forms a thicker curd in the stomach which takes longer to digest and so stage 2 milks are often marketed as being for hungrier babies.
