Directions for use
- Slide the stocking up towards the knee
- Insert your hand in the stocking and hold the heel portion in your palm. Now reverse the stocking outward
- Slide the inverted stocking such that its heel portion fits your heel perfectly. Now slowly start pulling up the stocking and make sure there are no wrinkles and folds

Relaxsan Anti-embolism stockings make proper blood circulation to the legs a seamless and effective process. They are made of lightweight materials making them comfortable to wear while undergoing the recovery process. They also minimize the risk of venous thromboembolism.
During the day and take them off before going to bed. Put them on again first thing in the morning. You should be given at least two stockings or two pairs if you are wearing them on both legs. This means you can wear one stocking (or pair) while the other is being washed and dried.
Millimeters of mercury
Blood pressure is measured in units of millimeters of mercury (mmHg). The readings are always given in pairs, with the upper (systolic) value first, followed by the lower (diastolic) value.
Stockings should feel snug, but not painfully tight. Mild compression, with lower numbers, is usually enough to keep you comfortable on your feet at work. You’ll need higher numbers with a firmer fit to prevent thrombosis and embolism prophylaxis.
