Direction of use
- Fasten the cuff around the bare upper arm
- Close the valve on the rubber bulb by turning the screw to the right.
- Feel for a pulse just below the cuff inside the elbow.
- Put the stethoscope on the elbow and the ear plug on your ears to hear the pulse
- Pump the cuff up by squeezing the bulb
- Take the needle up to 200 by pumping the rubber bulb
- Start releasing the pressure by opening the valve screw
- Releasing the valve screw, the needle will start coming down
- you can start hearing the heartbeat sound on the stethoscope

An Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is a device used to measure a person’s blood pressure. It consists of an inflatable cuff that is placed around a person’s arm and a hand-held gauge that is used to measure the pressure.
Remove the inflation bladder from the cuff. you can clean it by wiping its surface with a damp cloth or washing it using a mild detergent. Do not use a bleaching agent or solvent. rinse well and let the cuff air dry. do not iron the cuff.
